Modernization of the geoportal of the East Kazakhstan region

2024

The Department of Land Relations of the East Kazakhstan region has developed a geoportal, which is a regional geoinformation system designed to display spatial data and electronic maps of the region. The portal is designed for government authorities, businesses, and the public to conveniently access information about land, infrastructure, and urban planning data. The system provides centralized storage and updating of geographical information, which contributes to improving the efficiency of managing the territorial development of the region.

The geoportal contains digital maps of the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Zaisan, Ridder, Shemonaiha, Altai, Serebryansk, district centers and other settlements. The system contains various geoinformation layers, including land plots, buildings and structures, the street and road network, engineering communications, master plans, detailed planning projects and other urban planning regulations.

The interactive map of the portal provides users with the opportunity to search for objects, view attribute information about land plots and real estate objects.

The geoportal was developed in accordance with the uniform requirements for geoinformation portals of local executive bodies.

The geoinformation portal provides services to the public and businesses for the issuance of technical specifications in electronic format without direct contact with the applicant, and also provides the submission of documents in electronic format using an electronic digital signature (EDS).

In addition, this geoportal hosts an online land valuation module that allows you to calculate the cadastral estimated value of land plots in the reference mode, as well as calculate the cost of land tax and rent.
