The development of an interactive investment map of the general plan of Temirtau city and Aktau settlement is an important stage in the development of urban infrastructure and economy. The main objective of the project was to increase the transparency of urban planning processes, stimulate investment and entrepreneurial activity, as well as create conditions for sustainable socio-economic development of territories.

In connection with the administrative and territorial reform of 2022 and the formation of the Abai region, the specialists of Geoinfo LLP carried out work on the modernization of the Geoportal of the East Kazakhstan region. The main objective of the project was to delineate a single digital cartographic space and update data in accordance with new boundaries. As a result, data on 2 cities and 8 districts included in the Abai region were isolated from the East Kazakhstan region.

The administrative and territorial reform of 2022, which resulted in the separation of the Abai region from the East Kazakhstan region, required the new region to form an independent infrastructure and territorial data management system. Under these conditions, the specialists of Geoinfo LLP created the Abai Geoportal, a single digital platform that provides effective resource administration taking into account new borders.

The geographic information system of Astana-REC JSC is a software for managing data on electric grid facilities. The system is designed for digital certification, editing existing and mapping new facilities and power supply networks. The system is based on a 1:2 000 scale digital map of the territory of Astana, which contains detailed diagrams of all the company's networks.

As part of the work on the development of the geoinformation infrastructure of the East Kazakhstan region, specialists of Geoinfo LLP have created a regional version of the geoportal. The developed geoportal combined cartographic data of cities and towns in the region on scales from 1:100 000 to 1:2 000. The project was implemented in strict accordance with the requirements of local executive authorities.

As part of the project, an interactive map of vacant land and utilities for the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey was created and filled in. On the basis of the cartographic basis updated in the ArcGIS Desktop (data from the RSE "NKGF" RK and archival materials), information from the AIS GZK, urban planning regulations and layers of engineering networks was integrated. The created resource ensures high accuracy and completeness of data for users.

As part of the partnership with TomTom Global Content B.V., the specialists of Geoinfo LLP carried out work on creating 3D panoramas on highways and roads of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The received geodata was transferred to TomTom Global Content B.V. for subsequent decryption and integration into the processes of creating and updating navigation services. The collected materials were used to calibrate and update elements of the road network of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the TomTom global cartographic platform.
