Updating vector maps of settlements in Saran and Aktas

As part of the provision of services for updating vector maps, a full update of 1:2,000 scale maps was carried out for the settlements of Saran and the village of Aktas. The aim of the project was to create an up-to-date electronic cartographic framework in the ArcGIS format for subsequent transfer to the RSE at the Republican Center for Urban Planning and Cadastre.

During the implementation of the project, specialists updated and brought into line with the current state of the geographic information database, which includes the main thematic layers: buildings and structures, objects of the hydrographic network, elements of the road network, as well as layers of vegetation, recreational areas and railway infrastructure.

Special attention is paid to the address data of the objects. The modern names of the elements of the road network have been clarified, as well as the address numbers of buildings and structures have been updated. The geographic information database was filled in strict accordance with the address register data, which ensures a high degree of reliability and relevance of the prepared materials.

The completed work resulted in a ready-to-use geoinformation database reflecting the current state of the territories of Saran and the village of Aktas. The database is formed in the ArcGIS 10.8 format and adapted for integration into the state information systems of urban planning and cadastre.
