Data integration of the General Planning Scheme for the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and AIS SUC

The following information systems took part in an information exchange process:

  1. AS GPST – general planning scheme for the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (GPST RK) – is an urban planning project which contains perspective of a long-term territorial development and a system of a rational organization of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is developed in consideration with regional and global processes and region’s importance in country’s socio-economic development.
  2. AIS SUC is a geoinformation cadastral system that is used for running an urban planning in a base level as well as in a state level. AS GPST RK is a single shell for all subsystems of the unit. It allows to operate with graphical and attribute data, that is input, analysis, editing and deleting in accordance with a principle of data integrity.Both parties are interaction initiators as well as data acceptors.

Thematic bases contain following layer groups:

  • Agribusiness;
  • Water resources;
  • Industrial-investment projects;
  • Mineral resources;
  • Industry;
  • Development strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Transport infrastructure;
  • Power supply

This tool offers an opportunity for data basing using tables.

The following figure shows a table filled by provided template.

The figure bellow shows a dialog window for entry input/edit.

A tool "Show"is also developed for moving towards the object. Highlight an entry in a table and click on a button "Show". The movement to the selected object will take place automatically. The object will be shaded.

Transition to the object.

To view an entry, select the entry and click "View the selected entry"button.

Viewing an entry.

For moving the table data it is possible to export the table as XLS. Click the "Export to Excel" button in a dialog window, locate a file and click the "Save" button. The file will be exported to Excel.

The figure bellow demonstrates the process of exporting the table. To import the file act analogously.

Export the file

Use the  tool "Print" to print map tiles.
Use the tool "Templates" to create a document with a map tile and a text in it.

"Identification" tool provides a GIS information about the object. Also it has attribute data: address of the facility, its type and the area, etc.

To view the attribute data, click "Identification" button and select a requested object – the information about the object will be displayed in an additional window.
