Modernization of the geoportal of the East Kazakhstan region

In connection with the administrative and territorial reform of 2022 and the formation of the Abai region, the specialists of Geoinfo LLP carried out work on the modernization of the Geoportal of the East Kazakhstan region. The main objective of the project was to delineate a single digital cartographic space and update data in accordance with new boundaries. As a result, data on 2 cities and 8 districts included in the Abai region were isolated from the East Kazakhstan region.

Updating vector maps of settlements in Saran and Aktas

As part of the provision of services for updating vector maps, a full update of 1:2,000 scale maps was carried out for the settlements of Saran and the village of Aktas. The aim of the project was to create an up-to-date electronic cartographic framework in the ArcGIS format for subsequent transfer to the RSE at the Republican Center for Urban Planning and Cadastre.
